AFE recognises the fact that creating a civil society that is well informed of concerns related to conservation of natural resources is critical to the success of official and non-official efforts in this direction. In this context, the primacy of young children as a target group is well established.

AFE’s Conservation Education and Training Division is working towards strengthening the linkages between school education and environmental conservation in collaboration with various schools as well as official agencies associated with management of school education. Programs designed and implemented by AFE enable the generation-next to not only get a first hand exposure to a variety of environmental settings, but also to interact with the best talent in the field of conservation sciences.
